There's nothing I could fault about this place. Good, friendly and attentive service and good food with generous portions. There's a good selection of dishes on the menu with some specials as well. Nicely decorated inside with a choice of dining area or bar area. It's very close to the motorway so an easy detour heading north or south.

Last Sunday, we nipped off the motorway as it was very slow moving.... and we found this dog friendly place. Lovely little pub, lovely staff, and the food was beautiful, we thoroughly enjoyed it. It was raining heavily outside and we were snug inside with great food x thank you

Fabulous place! Gorgeous decor, relaxed atmosphere, airy feel, staff all friendly and helpful, delicious food, good range at the bar, large car park - no complaints at all. Alys and Anne were both brilliant, a credit to the team.

We found this quaint pub tucked away in Carnforth. I loved the authentic stone walled fireplace. The young bar maid paid special attention to my daughter and helped us find some games to keep her entertained. We were made to feel very welcome. The bar snacks were really tasty. My only criticism was the cappucinos were a bit pricey but I am still giving you 5 stars. Thank you for having us. Take care.

A 5 star all round experience. I rang up on the Saturday and they managed to fit 8 people in for Easter Sunday with such short notice which was greatly appreciated. Both the starters and the mains tasted absolutely amazing and the Irish coffee to finish off went down a treat. The portion sizes are fantastic and everyone really enoyed their time here. The waitress was very friendly and bought my nephew an egg to draw on for Easter which kept him occupied. Overall the food, service and even the decor of the pub made for a lovely evening.
